About William

William “Blake” Markee is the Regional Tax Director and shareholder of Metz CPA WI LLC. As the Regional Tax Director Blake’s primary focus is the technical review of all tax returns and acting as the Tax Advisor for all his clients’ tax planning purposes. Blake’s prior experiences range from working with large publicly traded partnerships while he was employed at Deloitte, LLP in their partnership solutions group, all the way to his most recent experience of managing a mid-size CPA firm in Lake Geneva, WI, where his primary focus was smaller businesses, partnerships, s-corporations and individual tax returns. Blake graduated Summa Cum Laude from UW-Milwaukee with his Bachelors in Accounting. He also holds a Masters in Professional Accounting, a graduate certificate in State and Local Tax and he is a Certified Tax Specialist. Blake values getting to know his clients inside and out to ensure the most tax advantageous advice is given. His true passion is tax planning and being proactive in making sure your business and individual tax situations are set up for success!
